The first village hall was erected on the site beside the village school and opposite St Mary’s Church.
About the hall
A place with

story.
The hall has stood on the same central Church Road site since 1911.
The hall was rebuilt following a devastating fire.
The charity received standard registration on 10 August.
The current hall was rebuilt to offer a more modern facility for community needs.
The volunteer-run hall continues to host meetings, clubs, classes, entertainment, celebrations and fundraising.
Our charitable purpose
To provide and maintain a village hall for residents of the parishes of Bradford Abbas and Clifton Maybank, including meetings, societies and other recreation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for all residents.
The hall serves the general public and provides a building and facilities for arts, culture, heritage, amateur sport and community development.
